Smoking tobacco though water pipes is VERY popular in many middle eastern countries, turkey particualry if i rememeber correctly. There is also this wierd fruit based stuff they smoke, it's a bit of tobacco, molassas and dried fruit stuff, comes in apple, rasberry etc, VERY nice *ahem*.
No, i don't smoke dope, enver have, never will.
Water pipes do differ a little in design though, the long pipe bit for example....I'm sure people smoke dope thought those too though.
Maybe the idea is they can raid muslims and arrest them for drug use.
