I'm a fan of Dr Seuss. Big whoop, so is everyone else.
I've been to the Dr Seuss store where they're building a museum in Springfield, MA, seen his early cartoons,
advertising illustrations for FLIT, among others, and seen his WW II political cartoons.
But until today I was unaware of
Hejji, a weekly comic strip in the Sunday papers, for less than a year 1935.

Unfortunately I've been able to find only six of these Sunday strips.
