I've looked. The answer is No.

Please resend the info. Thanks!

ps, I do love my daughter. But I am hoping she'll tire of this infatuation with this particular breed. They're gorgeous dogs, true. But from what I know of her and her lifestyle, this would not be a good match in temperament and care needs.

Is a Shiba Inu Right You?

Shibas are definitely NOT for everyone.

If you are looking for a dog you can walk off-leash, who is always looking for attention and affection, will always come when called, and will immediately love all new dogs they meet, then a shiba may not be the right dog for you. In fact, shibas are often characterized as cat like.

Many shibas will not get along with other dogs (or cats) unless they get to be the boss. Many shibas can lively happily with other dogs (and cats) but some cannot.

Most shibas are escape artists and many can, and will, climb chain link fences.

All that being said, they can also be wonderful companions who are habit forming!

For more information about the breed please visit http://www.shibarescue.org/shiba.html.

NOTE: Due to the breed's very independent nature, we advise that all shibas be leashed whenever outside a securely fenced area. Extreme caution should be taken around open doors with any shiba. New owners will need to take special care to ensure their new dog is safely contained.
Who knows, maybe I'm projecting. I definitely don't think this would be the dog for me. They sure are pretty though.
