I don't know if this was mentioned yet, but on that Rober Silvers page with the pictures of the freaky
robot head, one of the popups has the title 'a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy'. That line is from Shakespeare's play
Hamlet and it refers to Yorick, the court jester. Hamlet finds Yorick's skull while digging around in a graveyard and the he does the 'to be or not to be' thing.
Hamlet also says "When we have shuffled off this mortal
coil, must give us pause......For who would bear the whips and scorns of time.....but that the dread of something after death"
Maybe that has something to do with how robots don't die? Or maybe about Frankenstein?
