Then you haven't watched very much anime. I'm not even questioning whether the Cowboy Bebop dub was any good; I only ever watched the sub. But Bandai uses a stock set of voiceactors for all of their releases. Those
same four people who did that "great voiceacting" have done the main characters for literally
dozens of other animes (and the translations were done by the same people too.) That's one of the main reasons I don't like watching mainstream release dubs: I can immediately recognize all the voiceactors, and it's distracting to be constantly remembering all the other characters they've done.
