Which returns to a same obvious conclusion. There is no left verses right. Those arguments are strawmen used by extremists to recruit the naive to their hype and spin. Reality is 'extremists verses moderates'. One can only mock the extremist quirks in our society. The emotional cannot grasp reality; only fears.
Sidebar: AI clearly does not mean less jobs. If true, than best make jobs by removing all computers from telco COs - that only destroyed jobs. Replace that job destroying computers with operators.
Reality: do that and less jobs will exist. Automation, that replaces humans with machines, actually creates MORE jobs. That makes no sense when a conclusion is based in 'open loop' reasoning. The world is 'closed loop'
We know repeatedly from history, nations that replace humans with machines have more jobs, less poverty, more wealth, better health, more growth, and social stability. AI is only a threat when using 'open loop' analysis. And by not learning well proven lessons from economics and so many 'less dismal' sciences.
