Very AULD thread, but the UK is currently in the grip of an extreme (to us) weather system. Very strong winds and rain
as per the BBC.

Even here in my protected Vale (think The Shire) the winds are buffeting the house.
Was just wondering how other Brits - in more exposed locations - are keeping...?
