When I was working on the Alaskan pipe line the ubiquitous wiggling leafy bushes that cover everything in lower AK was called "Pucker Brush" by the locals.
I asked why?
I was told, "Because you can barely crawl through that stuff but a moose after you - can run 25MPH through it ."
