I guess it would keep her warm but it’s summer in Argentina, so bad Idea.
Kids found this dog in a tar pit and alerted their folks who called the fire department.
The fires guys got her out but that was all they could do
An Argentinean not-for-profit organization called “Proyecto 4 Patas” answered the call but in the short time it took them to get
there the tar had hardened, the pup couldn’t move an inch. Neighbors provided water to hydrate and some vegetable oil to clean the pup enough to safely move her.
After nine hours of labor by volunteers (some of the fire guys came along to help too), 50 liters of Vegetable oil, 3 baths with
detergent, and a lot of rags... hey look there’s a dog in there. And she’s hungry.
Quote:
“When we were cleaning her, we were so afraid that she could die at any time, but after the first bath, she seems to relax so much. She knew we were trying to help her. After we finished, we thought that she would be exhausted and let her sleep, but no, all she wanted was to stay near us and cuddle.

If you massaged me with oil for nine hours , gave me three baths, and fed me, I’d be kind of attached to you also.
