It begins with farm owner Jurgen Schmidt making his way down to the stables each morning to let his horses out.
Taking seven-year-old Freya, who is the farm’s working dog with him, Jurgen waits until all the other horses have left the stables before he allows the two friends to play.
“They have been playing this game since Freya was a pup,” said Jurgen, 52.
“They chase each other around each day and none of them has ever been harmed. It is incredible.”
