Speaking as someone who occasionally gets mistaken for a bloke, I have to say having longer hair made no difference to that whatsoever.

Also, I have over the years had a few male friends who have, for one reason or another, dressed and/or attempted to appear female. In my personal opinion the bigger, or longer hair styles were least effective in achieving that. With the sole exception being Jimmie's* beautiful ash blonde wig. But that was super straight and fine, and he had the perfect face shape for it. I tried it on and it just didn't do for me, what it did for him.



*a lad J and I flatshared with for short while. Started very friendly as these things do and then broke down into acrimonious fallouts...again as these things do :p
