It's from The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon had been awake for days trying to figure out some science-y problem, and went off the rails. Leonard found him at a Chuck E. Cheese-type place using the balls in the ball pit to make larger atom models. Leonard went in after him, and Sheldon refused to be caught, taunting Leonard with the term

AFAIK, this is the origin of the use of the word on the show, though Sheldon often used it when zinging someone with an joking insult.

ETA: There was about a half dozen of us watching it at the time it aired, and we were all stoned to the gills. I guess that's why it was so funny. It stuck with me.
