While time may have been created at the big bang, that doesn't rule out that it existed and terminated just before it. And if it terminated for an infinitely small period of "time" then its as if it didn't really terminate at all. Well, you can always fall back on the first law of thermodynamics which states that energy is neither created nor destroyed. In the sense that consciousness is energy, we were ALL there for the big bang. The concussion just knocked it out of our memory banks.
