When the movie Jaws came out everyone was freaked about dipping their toes in the ocean for awhile… except the few
intrepid folks who were eventually ripped apart on jagged teeth.
But marine biologist Alexander Semenov is the head of the diving at Moscow State University’s White Sea Biological Station.
He swims under Jaws, down where the Sun don’t shine, and 50% to 80% of the critters on Earth live. Nobody knows,
because we don’t know what’s there, so he takes pictures around the Octopus’s Garden trying to catalog them.

Most of the pictures draw oohs and ahhs, plus a lot of what-the-hell-is-thats.
