Earth quakes have been big news lately. We see pictures of crumbled buildings and people suffering. This is what actually happens.



This is the Futagawa Fault in Japan. It moved 5 ft 11 inches(1.8m) horizontally in some places during an earthquake for 4 miles(6/7K) in 2015.
It was a magnitude-7.3 earthquake That shakes stuff up pretty good.
