You see, you were cool because you felt (knew) you were cool, regardless of what anyone else thought. There were, at the time, a whole lot of people that thought Deadheads were uncool and a whole lot worse. But that didn't matter, as long as you think you're cool, you are.
And, no matter how cool you are, if you don't believe it, you'll never be.
