Actually Post-it based weapons, in a sculpture series called Army.

When it comes to having plenty of time and patience, Italian artist Marco Ercoli has both in abundance. He has taken tens of thousands of colourful Post-it notes and crafted them into a series of weapon sculptures, including everything from a detailed gun and hand grenade to a beautiful samurai sword. First of all, Post-its are expensive, and the only advantage over colored paper is along the sticky edge band.
Secondly, "gentle colours"? I see they aren't gun blue, olive drab, or camo, however, they look pretty bright and stimulating to me.
I may not know much about art, but I don't know much about art.
