I'm more likely to have a romantic dream than a pornographic dream.
I often dream about one of the two boys I had crushes on between the ages of 10-12, although we are grown ups in the dream. I wake up feeling loved and cared for - trust me, that's a harsher come-back when reality hits than just finishing off the dream by flickin the bean.
Occasionally I have what I would term as erotic dreams. These are usually filled with heightened sexual awareness and longing, as opposed to actually getting jiggy with it.
These sometimes involve people I have no sexual attraction to in real life (when I was in school I had a dream where I fancied my hated maths teacher and I wanted to bleach my brain when I woke up). They're more likely to be about people I've been sexually intimate with IRL though.
I have had some very VERY disturbing dreams, in which I was turned on by things which I do not find a sexual stimulus when awake. I mean aside from the dream about Mr w mentioned above - I'm talking about dreams that if they were real waking fantasies would have me seriously worried. But then I figure I dream about smashing my sister's head against a concrete floor far more often, or that my brother is a tiny baby I keep in a matchbox, so I shrug and say dreams are nof wish fulfillment. Except the ones about banging some sense into my sister.
Minor aside, not intended as a derailment. I woke up with a very profound thought this morning. I don't precisely remember the dream, but I realised that:
If at the end of the evening, someone is forcing you to drink alcohol, you have probably made a poor choice somewhere that night. In your company, in your choice of location, in the signals you are sending out. You could have changed the outcome in any number of small ways.
HOWEVER, if at the end of the evening, someone is forcing an animal to drink alcohol, they are morally degenerate, as that animal never had any choice.
It took until I'd gone downstairs to get the post before I realised I'd been dreaming a load of old bollocks.
Although weirdly it might be my mind's rehashing of Chrissie Hynde's comments.
