The vids I watched made no mention of storyline that pulls you along.... just that for some reason, you'll want to get to the galactic center. No bad guy to fight, just other players maybe, and if you piss off the bots on a world you become wanted..... but I could see getting bored after the shine wears off.
It's a good building block for some future game at the least.
