I've used those in the rat trap size, and they work well.

For mouse traps, we use the plastic quick set kind that are also easy to deal with when you get rid of the dead guy. They are finicky though and don't always trip. And sometimes they don't kill, which is a little awkward for both you and the mouse. You have to figure out how to kill the little guy then.

Come to think of it, I can't recommend this kind of trap at all.
