That's the problem with most MMOs: everybody gets to be a hero, or a super powerful mage.
Games like UO were much better in my opinion. In UO,alongside the warriors and wizards, there were people making a name for themselves as top chef on their shard, or house decorators to the well-heeled. People who made a fortune hunting and selling feathers, or picking and selling herbs. My best friend made his in-game fortune as a money lender and speculator.
Being a kickass hero is no fun if there are no farmers and traders to impress.
Me? I was gambler. A poor one. My character gambled his freedom in a dice game and lost. Ended up in a player killer guild because of it.
