The upside is, when a kid goes through a lot of dental work early on, by the time they're older they don't think anything of it. Novacaine? pffffft...just drill it!

I hope nipping it in the bud works for minifobette. I think I've said, I fell on the playground in 2nd grade and it created a lifetime of procedures and appliances. You're giving her a great gift by doing what you can as early as you can. Barring accidents, you are saving her troubles later. Extensive dentistry IS tough on a kid.
