I haven't heard anything specifically about this, but I do know that most if not all major universities have group health insurance plans for their students (mandatory participation, with the cost included as part of the tuition.) It's not in their best interest for students to have to drop out because they went bankrupt on medical bills, and college kids are notoriously stupid about both hygiene and safety.
