Because this is the wrong thread.
I can talk all over the board about being overweight and wah, wah, wah. And people can respond in any way they want.
But if I post a photo here I should not be subjected to people ridiculing me and my life choices.
I wouldn't expect anyone to write "Ooh Sundae, how slim you are!" but I also would not expect vitriol.
And two posts of push-back on here is just the cherry on the topping of the unpleasantness of this ongoing situation. Ibs has a hard furrow to plough in his life. Merc is fully entitled to his opinion. But for goodness sake take it out of a thread in which traditionally Dwellars either make complimentary or constructive remarks or just don't bother to say anything.
NB - I am not suggesting that being fat is in any way comparable to gender issues. It's just the only way I can relate.
