I actually have an acquaintance who is doing just that. Well, not the robbing them blind part, but she scored a pretty cool gig as a house sitter/house keeper for a luxuriant condo in Mountain Village. She says the owners come out for two weeks a year and the rest of the time the condo is hers. Sweet.
