I went hunting once and camped at the foot of a bluff, a place where the deer would walk down and cross a field to get to a stream. The deer came down the wooded hillside, split into two groups of about 5 each and walked around me. Man, I had the perfect shot when they hit the open field. The sun was coming up, and they looked amazing. I couldn't take the shot. Just watched them. I don't regret it.
