To be serious for just a moment, world population is set to pass 7 billion within the next three days.

So, am I really in the richest 70,000,000 people?

Based on some of the graphs posted here recently, I'm in the middle quintile for the USA - so there are maybe 100 million Americans richer than me already. Then if we add in similar numbers for the rest of the OECD and some rich middle-eastern countries ...

Well, I reckon even those cellarites who are doing it toughest are probably in the top 10%, globally. 20, at worst.
