Taking drugs I think is an age thing,well it was in my case.Started in the 70's as a teenager through to my 20's then had enough and changed direction "Must have grown up",Or got sick of living in a Cheech and Chong.Freak Bros movie.
I was very lucky,lots of people I knew didn't last the course but when you are young you think you are invincible.
Where I live it went from Hippie shit to the Trainspotting generation so fast and before anyone knew what the fuck happened Edinburgh was the Aids capital of Europe,(great government decision that one, politicians logic)make hypo's ,needles etc not available to be bought at chemists etc and it will stop people using..Doh won't the share them or steal them from hospital sharps bins?.
Whether we want to admit it or not drugs are here to stay so take it out of the criminal's control and market and tax it like booze,tobacco.
The money most governments spend trying to control the cartels could be better used in other areas.
Most people grow out of doing drugs how many politicians do you know that inhaled.......
