We went with what Mum wanted, which was the same Pizza Hut deal we had last week in Cardiff.
As it was her treat it seemed best to agree - and she was so excited by the pizza last week she really had been fantasising about it.
Dad won't buy take-away pizzas. He says the ones from Tesco are just as good. Fair enough, it's his money. But when Mum gets a chance she really does enjoy a fresh one.
The deal is a pizza, garlic bread or potato wedges, unlimited salad and a drink for £5 (£5.50 if you want refills)
That's amazing. And given we ate in Leciester Square, where you pay £3.00 for a slice of pizza that has been sat there for a long time, and £2 for a 500ml bottle of Coke, that's mega amazing.
I gave my garlic bread to Ste and only ate half my pizza (and none of the crust!). And I was sensible in my salad choices - no tortilla chips, bacon bits, sauces etc. Lettuce, peppers, onions, jalapenos and a little bit of sweetcorn. I think I walked it all off anyway!
Oh, checked the scales this morning, have lost another 4lbs somewhere.
So I'm doing all right after all
