Disney's Princess (no idea which one - I despise them all) looks apprehensive.
She knows Happily Ever After requires her to produce a male heir and look the other way once she has. She also fears the "religious wounding" to follow.
The Duchess of Cambridge knows both what she is getting into and what she is getting.
I was so proud on Castle Day that among the Disney Princesses we had a female Knight, and an Empress Matilda. We learned about her on our visit to Oxford Castle - how she escaped the siege by Stephen the Usurper, all dressed in white because of the snow, and galloped to join her troops outside Oxford. She successfully negotiated to have her son (Henry II, first of the Plantagenets) become King on Stephen's death. We also had two Cooks - roles we'd researched during Projects. I like it when girls don't believe the hype.
