She just has very fine hair, Sarge. Mum used to yank mine into plaits and bunches so tight my head screamed. It got cut short way earlier than I wanted because of this... Let her enjoy her hair freedom while she can

We are going to the local pub for lunch. It's the place we've been to lots of times before, but this will be our first family meal there since it changed to a Hungry Horse franchise. It's pretty basic stuff, but it's close to home and reasonably priced.
