There's a scene in The Truth About Cats and Dogs where Noelle discovers, through a Woman's magazine quiz, that her boyfriend, Roy, is a jerk. We've seen Roy on-screen. It is obvious to everyone except Noelle, that he is a jerk. Only Noelle needs the magazine article to discover this fact.
I was reminded of that scene today when I read
this article from eWeek. They think the pricing on the Xoom (competitor to iPad) may affect its adoption.
Well, let's see. They're following the iPad, not leading. It's $129 more than the equivalent iPad. There is no entry-level model. And you have to buy a 3G plan in order to turn on WiFi reception.
Yeah. I'm thinking that might affect enthusiasm for the product.
