Fine Woodworking became really dumbed down and repetitive, so I stopped it.

Make Magazine is too damn expensive, plus they published in their blog a few months ago the location of the free web based electronic version. I'd be a fool to purchase what they have as a free .PDF on the web.

The only magazine I get right now is SPIN, and that's only because it's being sent here in error. Somebody subscribed to it and put in the wrong address. So it comes to us for free. Ed Talpia, wherever you are, thank you.

For the most part, the good magazines I've received have all lowered their standards and are aiming for the lowest common denominator while at the same time raising their prices a lot and cutting the amount of content. I'd like to get a magazine, but they are all crap.
