It's a Small World
But, as Steven Wright said, I wouldn't want to paint it.
We all know about getting funny pictures in our emails. We all have friends that forward stuff like this, and sometimes these pics end up here, like this one does today.
But first, the story.
I belong to a bunch of topic-based email mailing lists. The particular one this photo comes from is for pagan cops, firefighters, and EMTs.
One day, a friend of mine who is a dispatcher, sends a picture to the list. I blinked a couple of times.
The picture was very familiar. I'd been shown it by the brother of one of the guys in the truck.
It's a coworker (my hospital is big on nepotism), with his national guard unit, during the first push into Iraq, back in March/April '03. He's currently stationed in Qatar.
And I think it's a great pic too.
