The hardware stands have had the tripods removed, and the bottom of the main post fitted with a threaded end that screws into the solid baseplate. Each one of the boom arms in this "steampunk" setup have angle meters incorporated into the tilter.

The cymbals are seen in detail, below. Here is an article about how they were made.
