I think by the time kids
want fame, it's too late to catch up. The ones that eventually achieve fame, wanted and found fun, otherwise they wouldn't have put in the hours.
The exceptions would be the Williams girls and Tiger Woods, whose parents are rumored to have been slave drivers.
