This year in my driveway I discovered Morel Mushrooms. I had never had them before and I found about 3 lbs of them. I sold 2 lbs and kept 1lb. Retail they are $35/lb. I got $20/lb and bought a bag of dog food.
So in the end the dogs got to eat and I had Morel mushrooms for the first time. Rolled in flour and sauteed in butter. Yum
ambrosia for sure!
I would pay $35/lb.
