I got a
PlantCam for my birthday. I got to try it out today for the first time. It's pretty cool. It's a time lapse digital camera. You can control how often it takes a shot. It's housed in a weather proof case, and can be mounted pretty much anywhere. It takes 4MP images that can be stitched together later, or it will take 640x480 videos with frames taken at an interval you set.
It's pretty cool.
So here's the video I made today, while I was at work, of the birds polishing off the seed in the bird feeder in our front yard. Also you get to see my wife running errands in the car. One frame every five minutes over the course of 11 hours.
