He was a great mate and I had him for just a couple of months short of twenty years. He was almost twenty-six when he went. I don't come from a 'horsey' background and it's something of a long story how I came to acquire him. He had a number of veterinary problems and it wouldn't have been fair to keep riding him, so he was retired early. I kept him on as a very large pet!
