Yes, absolutely, the Cellar has it own Rush (and no, I dont mean UG), but he's treated like a petulant spoiled child and simply accepted and ignored by most and rarely, if ever, called out for his antics or his offensive posts.
And yes, w/o knowing the back story, I too thought the recent "cunt" reference to another member here was offensive,
Generally I laugh at the "fuck you" or "failed" tossed out by our Rush and his acquiescent supporters when confronted or challenged with facts or an opinion with which they disagree...but IMO, there is a clear pattern of discourse here in the politics section in which, very often, the more conservative members dont seem interested in discussion as much as they are "going negative" and attacking people that challenge them.
But what do I know. I'm just an arrogant east coast liberal elitist and I guess that pisses some people off.
