It isn't snowing at the moment but it is freezing.
Just been to look after the horses for the final time today. I was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time as a 4WD vehicle needed to be returned to the farm. That made the outward journey reasonably straightforward, but on the way back I had to walk and my feet just went from under me. I hit the deck on my right side with one hell of a bang. Hip, wrist and shoulder took the brunt of it and I received an all round jarring. It took me a minute or two to pull myself together and stand once again. My first worry was that I'd hit my head. It sounds daft to say that, but I landed with a hell of a thump and didn't know for several seconds what part of me had made contact with the ground.
Anyway, this time last night we had a power cut so at least we've been spared that inconvenience. Nothing should get between a chap and his cup of tea.
