Because it includes all the shame, hurt and disappointment of being shite. But also the amazing attitude of every Brit supporter - English or otherwise. None of us have ever stopped dreaming after all.

We've always been Davids, whichever of the four kingdoms you support. And I know I'd support a British team/ sportsman any time I can. Just a shame we have to band together for the Eurovision. I can't help but think a Welsh or Scottish entry might just manage more than nil point (sorry NI, still too many killers there to garner a European vote).
