I say it was space aliens, conducting an intelligence test. IF weird-stuff-happens-in-the-sky WHEN your-scientists-push-the-large-hadron-collider-past-the-safe-zone THEN keep-going = idiots ELSE making-damn-sure-the-LHC-didn't-cause-a-rift-in-space = not idiots.
