Another Year Older, and Much Deeper in Debt
Today is my birthday. I'm 34. This last year, I finally became an adult. Taking on a mortgage seemed to do the trick.
The reason I know I'm an adult is because I am spending my birthday going along with the things my kids think are exciting to do to celebrate my birthday (breakfast in bed, acting out a happy birthday play, wrapping up my iphone as a present) instead of things I think are fun to do (sleep in, sit quietly on the back porch and drink coffee, snort blow off the tatted up inner thigh of a high price call girl).
Hurray, I'm in my mid-30's. It sucks.
