Lin Hui and three-year-old male panda Chuang Chuang were presented to the Thai government by China and will act as "animal ambassadors" to reflect the close relationship between the two countries. The Thai government have spent 40 million baht ($1 million) on specially built air-conditioned enclosures and a recreational area for the pandas from China's Cheng Du city.
