Felice Varini actually laid out and painted the amalgam of lines and shapes required to bring this illusion together.
Varini has been doing this sort of thing for 30 years, all over the globe.
Varini's illusions, like the sidewalk chalk artist illusions, always made me wonder just how that's done. Until now.
Varini shows how he did at least one project
here. Using a powerful projector at night, he projected the pattern on the buildings, marked the buildings with the outlines, then filled in the outlines come daylight. Very simple, very clever.
