I bought the Best of Plympton some time ago, and I gotta tell ya, he was simply an awesome writer. They called it "participatory journalism", and it was a little revolutionary, but in his case I think it was just a guy who could write brilliantly, who found a wonderful motherlode he could mine for ideas and concepts.
