I had Tuscan Bean Soup the other day.
It was yumski-scrumski, but then I did add Tabasco to it.
And bread. Well, in Siena they add stale bread to soup, so it was nearly authentic.
Yesterday I boiled up some lentils and mixed in the salsa I made for Sunday's roast-substitute (oven cooked chicken thighs with baked potato wedges and steamed veg). It was lovely heated up, a spicy, healthy, hearty lunch. And whatever Mum says about Dad having to have a Sunday roast, he didn't touch the gravy I'd made on his behalf, but had second helpings of salsa! Then again, maybe that means the potatoes were bland

They were good & crispy though.
Today, I'll prolly have a bagel with low fat cheese. Big pasta dinner tonight.
