The highest point in Iowa 1670ft, but the lowest is 480 ft, so the difference is 1190 ft., 12 times taller than that dorm building.
And the Netherlands has you beat with 1053 ft and minus 23 ft.
That said, I've driven across Iowa a dozen times... Damn, that's flat.
