I long ago gave up on keeping any decent carpets because of my dog...I don't care
I love my dog....carpets? meh.
A friend of a friend recently had to give her two dogs up. Work commitments were getting to the point she never saw them and was spending half her wage on dog sitters/walkers. I felt so sorry for her. But at the same time, I also knew, I'd never find myself in that position, because I'd give the job up first lol.
